TN TRB SGT Recruitment 2024 Tamil: Tamil Nadu Teachers Recruitment Board has released the latest notification for the recruitment of Secondary Graduate Teachers posts. Eligible Indian citizens  can apply online for the TN TRB Vacancy 2024 from the website starting from 14th  February 2024. TN TRB invites Applications for the Following Post:

• Secondary Grade Teachers –Scale of pay- Rs. 20600 – 75900 (Level –10)

Eligibility Criteria:

Secondary Grade Teachers:

• Higher Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known); (or)
• Higher Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002; (or)
• Higher Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.); (or)
• Higher Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2- year Diploma in Education (Special Education); (or)
• Graduation and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known); and
• Passed in the Tamil Nadu Teacher Eligibility Test (TNTET) Paper – I

Age Limit:

• General Category – The upper age limit for the candidates belonging to General Category for appointment by direct recruitment to this selection is 53 years of age as on the first day of July of the recruitment year viz: 2024
• All Others – Also the upper age limit for the candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Backward Class Muslims, Backward Classes, MBC/DNC and DW of all castes is 58 years of age as on the first day of July of the recruitment year viz:2024

Application Fee

• The Examination fee is Rs.600/- for all the candidates except SC, SCA, ST and differently abled persons. For SC, SCA, ST and differently abled persons the examination fee is Rs. 300/- Since the examination fee is different for various categories, candidates are advised to enter the correct Community / Category of Disability. Once the payment is made, it will not be refunded.
