Puducherry Transport Department invites Applications for the Following Post:

• Junior Engineer / Assistant Motor Vehicle Inspector – 11 Posts

• Junior Engineer / Assistant Motor Vehicle Inspector – Level 6

Eligibility Criteria:

(i)  A Bachelor’s Degree in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University. And
(ii) Driving license authorizing to drive motor cycle, heavy goods vehicles and heavy passenger motor vehicles.
OR
(i) A pass in 10th Standard from a recognized board/University; 
(ii) A Diploma in Automobile Engineering (3 years course) or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (3 years course) awarded by the State Board of Technical Education;
(iii) Work experience of one year in an automobile workshop of manufacturing unit or authorized service centre of manufacturing unit which undertakes repairs of both Light Motor Vehicles, Heavy goods vehicles and Heavy passenger Motor vehicles fitted with petrol and diesel engines;And Driving License authorizing to drive motorcycle, heavy goods vehicles and heavy passenger motor vehicles.

Age Limit: 

• Junior Engineer / Assistant Motor Vehicle Inspector – Not Exceeding 30 Years
