Madras High Court Interpreter Recruitment 2024 : MHC has released the latest notification for the recruitment of Interpreter posts. Eligible Indian citizens can apply online for the MHC Vacancy 2024 from the website starting from 30th June 2024. All the details related to MHC Recruitment 2024 are given below.

MHC invites Applications for the Following Post:

• Interpreter (Tamil and Telugu) – 05 Posts
• Interpreter (Hindi) – 01 Post
• Interpreter (Kannada) – 01 Post
• Interpreter (Malayalam) – 01 Post

• Interpreter (Tamil and Telugu) – Pay Level-22 Rs.56,100 – Rs.2,05,700/-
• Interpreter (Hindi) –  Pay Level-22 Rs.56,100 – Rs.2,05,700/-
• Interpreter (Kannada) –  Pay Level-22 Rs.56,100 – Rs.2,05,700/-
• Interpreter (Malayalam) –  Pay Level-22 Rs.56,100 – Rs.2,05,700/-

Eligibility Criteria:

•  Interpreter (Tamil and Telugu) –
  (a) Any Bachelor’s Degree of a Recognized University in Indian Union in 10 + 2 + 3 pattern with English, Tamil or Telugu as Subjects.
  (b) Must have fluency to read, write, speak and translate Tamil to English and English to Tamil.
  (c) Must have fluency to read, write, speak and translate Telugu to English and English to Telugu.
• Interpreter (Hindi) –
  (a) Any Bachelor’s Degree of a Recognized University in Indian Union in 10 + 2 + 3 pattern with English and Hindi as Subjects.
  (b) Must have fluency to read, write, speak and translate Hindi to English and English to Hindi.
  (c) Must have fluency to read, write, speak and translate Tamil to English and English to Tamil.
• Interpreter (Kannada) –
  (a) Any Bachelor’s Degree of a Recognized University in Indian Union in 10 + 2 + 3 pattern with English and Kannada as Subjects.
  (b) Must have fluency to read, write, speak and translate Kannada to English and English to Kannada.
  (c) Must have fluency to read, write, speak and translate Tamil to English and English to Tamil.
• Interpreter (Malayalam) –
  (a) Any Bachelor’s Degree of a Recognized University in Indian Union in 10 + 2 + 3 pattern with English and Malayalam as Subjects.
  (b) Must have fluency to read, write, speak and translate Malayalam to English and English to Malayalam.
  (c) Must have fluency to read, write, speak and translate Tamil to English and English to Tamil.

Age Limit: 

• For reserved categories i.e. SC / SC(A) / ST / MBC & DC / BC / BCM: 37 years
• For Others/ Unreserved categories [i.e., Applicants not belonging to SC / SC(A) / ST / MBC & DC / BC and BCM] [Persons belonging to other States / Union Territories i.e. except the State of Tamil Nadu and the Union Territory of Puducherry, will be treated only as ‘Unreserved category candidates’]: 32 years
• For In-Service candidates [“In Service candidate” means – Fulltime member or approved / unapproved probationer of the Madras High Court Service or Tamil Nadu Judicial Ministerial Service]: 47 years

MHC  May Follow the Certain Process to Select the Candidates.
