TN TRB PG Assistant Recruitment 2025: Tamil Nadu Teachers Recruitment Board has released the latest notification for the recruitment of Post Graduate Assistant posts. Eligible Indian citizens  can apply online for the TN TRB Vacancy 2025 from the website starting from 10th July 2025. All the details related to TN TRB Post Graduate Assistant Notification 2025 are given below.

TN TRB invites Applications for the Following Post:

• Post Graduate Assistant / Physical Director Grade – I and Computer Instructor Grade-1  – 1996 Posts

• Post Graduate Assistant / Physical Director Grade – I and Computer Instructor Grade-1  – (Rs.36900 – 116600) (Level – 18) in the minimum pay of Rs.36900

Eligibility Criteria:

(i) Post Graduate Assistant in Languages
1 (a) Post Graduate with at least 50% marks (or its equivalent) from recognized University and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.,) from National Council for Teacher Education recognized Institution.
                 or
(b) Post Graduate with at least 45% marks (or its equivalent) from recognized University and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) from National Council for Teacher Education recognized institution in accordance with the National Council for Teacher Education (Form of application for recognition, the time limit of submission of application, determination of norms and standards for recognition of Teacher Education Programmes and permission to start new course or training) Regulations, 2002 notified on 13.11.2002 and National Council for Teacher Education (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations,2007 notified on 10.12.2007.
                or
(c) Post Graduate with at least 50% marks (or its equivalent) from recognized University and B.A.Ed.,/ B.Sc.Ed from any National Council for Teacher Education recognized Institution. and
2. Must have obtained a Bachelor’s degree and Master’s degree in the same languages or their equivalent in respect of which recruitment is made.
(ii) Post Graduate Assistant in Academic subject
1(a) Post Graduate with at least 50% marks (or its equivalent) from recognized University and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.,) from National Council for Teacher Education recognized Institution.
             or
(b) Post Graduate with at least 45% marks (or its equivalent) from recognized University and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) from National Council for Teacher Education recognized institution in accordance with the National Council for Teacher Education (Form of application for recognition, the time limit of submission of application, determination of norms and standards for recognition of teacher education programmes and permission to start new course or training) Regulations, 2002 notified on 13.11.2002 and National Council for Teacher Education (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations,2007 notified on 10.12.2007.
              or
(c) Post Graduate with at least 50% marks (or its equivalent) from recognized University and B.A.Ed.,/ B.Sc.Ed from any National Council for Teacher Education recognized Institution. and
2. Must have obtained a Bachelor’s degree and Master’s degree in the same Subject or their equivalent in respect of which recruitment is made.
(iii) Physical Director Grade I
1(a) Bachelor of Physical Education (B.P.Ed.) or Bachelor of Physical Education (BPE) or Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.,) in Health and Physical Education and Degree in Sports with at least 55% marks as per National Council for Teacher Education (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations, 2009.
         or
(b) At least 50% marks in the B.P.Ed., degree/ B.P.Ed. (Integrated) 4 years professional degree in accordance with the National Council for Teacher Education (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations, 2007 notified on 10.12.2007.
        or
(c) B.P.Ed. with at least 55% marks or B.P.E Course (or its equivalent) of 3 years duration with at least 50% marks in accordance with the National Council forTeacher Education (Form of application for recognition, the time limit of submission of application, determination of norms and standards for recognition of teacher education programmes and permission to start new course or training) Regulations, 2002 notified on 13.11.2002. and
2. M.P.Ed. of at least 2 years duration from any National Council for Teacher Education recognized institution. [G.O.Ms. No. 14, School Education {SE2(1)}, 30.01.2020]
(iv) Computer Instructor Grade I
1(a) Post Graduate with at least 50% marks (or its equivalent) from recognized University and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from National Council for Teacher Education recognized Institution.
          or
(b) Post Graduate with at least 45% marks (or its equivalent) from recognized University and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from National Council for Teacher Education recognized institution in accordance with the National Council for Teacher Education (Form of application for recognition, the time limit of submission of application, determination of norms and standards for recognition of teacher education programmes and permission to start new course or training) Regulations, 2002 notified on 13.11.2002 and National Council for Teacher Education (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations, 2007 notified on 10.12.2007.
         or
(c) Post Graduate with at least 50% marks (or its equivalent) from recognized University and B.A.Ed.,/ B.Sc.Ed from any National Council for Teacher Education recognized Institution. and
2. Must have obtained a Bachelor’s degree and Master’s degree in the same Subject or its equivalent in respect of which recruitment is made. [G.O.(Ms) No.130 School Education (SE2(1)) Department, Dated: 02.06.2025]
(V) Educational Qualification for the Special Schools for Differently Abled:-
1a. Post Graduate with at least 50% marks (or its equivalent) from the recognized university and
b. B.Ed (Special Education) in Teaching for Visually Impaired / Hearing Impaired from the institution recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India.
                 or
2. B.Ed and Senior Diploma in Teaching the Visually Impaired / Hearing Impaired from the institution recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India. All other general conditions as provided in G.O.Ms. No. 14, School Education {SE2(1)}, 30.01.2020 will be applicable.

Age Limit:  

• The upper age limit for the candidates belonging to General Category for appointment by direct recruitment for the post of Post Graduate Assistant / Physical Director Grade – I / Computer Instructor Grade – I is 53 years and for the candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Backward Class Muslims, Backward Classes, MBC/DNC and Destitute Widow of all castes is 58 years as on the first day of July – 2025.
• Applicants Relaxation in Upper Age limit will be provided as per Government Rules.
